Back again in Cusco

We arrived in Cusco on Tuesday morning. This time with 4 suitcases packed for the children, each carefully weighed to 49 pounds to make sure we didn't get charged any fees. No forgotten bags or run ins with Boston's finest police officer Harris. However, when we showed up to the airport we quickly realized that our 49 pound bags translated into 52 American Airline pounds, but lucky for us Susan from American has a policy to not charge for bags that go to a good cause.

We crammed the following into the bags:
- 43 pounds of books (about 180 in total - Scholastic Books came through again giving us huge discounts on Spanish Children's Books, which are basically nonexistent in Peru)
- 288 toothbrushes and 90 spongebob toothpastes
- 57 bottles of vitamins with 300 in each bottle. We would have got a few more vitamins, except we bought out both the Plymouth and Weymouth BJs. This will give Inti a year supply for about 75 kids as well as provide Mantay with a good amount.

We wanted to thank everyone at our wedding for not only wearing party socks, but also for your generous gifts. We have decided to use a portion of the money we received to help further our mission with the children of Peru.
Also, International Place Dentists and Marty from The Neighborhood Club came through big on the toothbrushes and toothpaste. Marty was also extremely generous giving us a $500 discount on our wedding when he heard that we were donating some of our wedding gifts to the children of Peru, so really he's also responsible for the 17,000 vitamins that will be used over the next year for these kids.
